Description

Readers’ Theatre Lab is a place where books come alive! In this course, students in Grades 2 through 4 don’t just read stories—they become the characters. You might roar like a dragon, whisper like a sneaky fox, or narrate an epic adventure for the whole group.

Through games, acting, movement, and imagination, students will read stories, act them out, and even create their own scenes and mini-plays. There are lots of chances to use silly voices, dramatic poses, sound effects, and teamwork to bring stories to life.

Whether you love reading, love performing, or aren’t sure about either yet, Readers’ Theatre Lab is all about having fun, trying new things, and discovering the magic inside stories. Stories aren’t just read—they’re experienced.

Students will:

  • Read stories in playful, expressive ways

  • Use their voices and bodies to show understanding of characters and events

  • Collaborate to create scenes, skits, and performances

  • Build confidence speaking and performing in front of others

  • Discover that reading can be joyful, social, and creative

All materials are included in the cost of the course.

Fees

  • Class Fee $130.00
